Who we are
Matrix Talents Limited ("we", "us") is a hospitality recruitment and staffing agency. Our office is at Unit 212, Island Business Centre, London SE18 6PF, United Kingdom. For any question about your personal data, contact us at info@matrix-talent.com or on 020 7870 8120.
We are the data controller for the personal information you submit through this website.
What we collect through this website
This website collects only what you type into one of our three forms.
- Employer enquiry form — company or venue name, contact name, email address, phone number, venue type and location, the roles you need, contract type, number of staff, start timing, and your message.
- Job seeker enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number, the type of work you are seeking, the area you can work in, work type preference, whether you have the right to work in the UK, your availability, and your message.
- General enquiry form — your name, email address, phone number, subject, and message.
We do not ask for bank details, National Insurance numbers, dates of birth, or copies of identity and immigration documents through this website. If we take a job seeker's application forward, those details are collected separately through our secure onboarding process — never through a web form.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide recruitment services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have contacted us asking to be contacted back — and, where a contract follows, performance of a contract.
- To consider job seekers for suitable roles and put them forward to client venues, with their agreement.
- To meet our legal obligations, including right-to-work checks where we go on to place someone.
You give consent when you tick the box on a form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using your details for that purpose.
Who we share it with
Job seeker details are shared with client venues only where we are putting a candidate forward for a role. Employer enquiry details are used within Matrix Talents to respond to the enquiry.
We also use service providers who process data on our behalf — website hosting, the service that delivers form submissions to us, and our email provider. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries submitted through this website for one year from the date we receive them. After that they are deleted.
If an enquiry leads to a placement or an engagement, the records that follow from it are held separately as part of our client and worker records, and are kept for as long as we are legally required to hold them.
How we protect it
Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Stored enquiries are held in a protected area that only authorised Matrix Talents staff can log into. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email info@matrix-talent.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. We load fonts from Google Fonts and, on the contact page, an OpenStreetMap map — these third parties receive your IP address in order to serve those resources.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
